My husband and I really enjoy all inclusive vacations that can also give us that luxurious feel. We looked all over for a place off the eastern coast of the U.S., but the flights were so expensive—I mean, more than the week spent at the resort, expensive—we ended up trying our luck looking for flights first and then looking for all-inclusive resorts in those areas. Well, we happened upon Cabo, neither of us a had been and we both had heard great things; the flight seemed easy enough—not a lot of lay overs and wasted time sitting in an airport—we pulled the trigger on Garza Blanca and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We can’t wait to go back!

Located between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, while at Garza Blanca Resort & Spa Los Cabos you can enjoy access to the best of Baja’s attractions: adventures, tours, art, and delicious food. However, the resort was so wonderful, my husband and I never left the grounds. Where do I begin with this slice of Paradise! The service was impeccable, everyone greeted us with smiles and were so welcoming. We even got to know a few of them and by the end of the week we were calling each other by name. I never once felt like what I asked was too much, I was never even told no, not once. A great example of this…I was craving french fries, but their fryers were used to cook all sorts of other food items so even though the fries were gluten free, the cross contamination was a problem. NOT TO WORRY! Without me even asking them to do so, the waiter at the pool asked me if I had time to wait for about 20 mins—I did, I was just enjoying my freshly made cocktail, I wasn’t going ANYWHERE, he said he would get me the fries I wanted, but needed to drain the fryer and change the oil so I would be sure not to be infected. The only other thing he asked me was, how many orders I wanted? I couldn’t believe it! Those fries were delicious—and I had two orders—thank you very much! The restaurants on site were so very careful. Even though I had to modify my orders, they were very open to anything I needed to do. I was even willing one night to infect myself with a little milk, since the reaction wasn’t as bad as some other food sensitivities, and I was just going to go up to the room and chill before going to bed after, anyway. They wouldn’t let me, they were too afraid of what would happen, so they went to another one of the restaurants on site and brought back some sorbet. It was the first vacation I had been on in over a decade where I didn’t have a single reaction. The FOOD! The freshest, most delicious food I have had in a very long time! The drinks were made fresh in front of me, and since I couldn’t have prepackaged syrups, they created an alternative for me without a fuss. The service is so impressive, so courteous, and caring. They go above-and-beyond in all the ways that they can to make your stay feel extra special and for someone with extreme food allergies, they kept me safe the entire time. Another example of exemplary service, I had called ahead the week before to have them be sure to put plenty of bottled water in our room—I drink about 70 ounces per day—and to have gluten free items, including particular fruits I could eat for snacks. When we got there, there was a case of water in our room and some already in the fridge chilled. There was a giant basket of all the fruits I mentioned I could have, and some gluten free snacks with labels clearly marked for my consumption. I was blown away. I felt totally safe! The room was just as pictured on the site, well maybe even better, there was a second bathroom I didn’t realize we had until we got there, and they were so clean and new. The grounds were phenomenal! I never once found a beer bottle or plastic cup on the ground. The flowers were gorgeous and the hallways and bathrooms were spic and span. A shout out to… Brenda, Gianni, Pavel and more who made our time there spectacular. Brenda and Gianni, our butlers, even decorated our room for my birthday with balloons, a sweet card, fruits and flower petals. I was very touched. My husband and I can’t wait to go back. We are already planning our next visit!
